Shilpa Singh was crowned ‘I Am She Miss Globe International 2012′.She will represent India at the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 to be held in Las Vegas on the 19th of December.

Shilpa Singh becomes the official representative of India in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 after Urvashi Rautela, the winner of I Am She – Miss Universe India 2012 was dethroned due to conflict of age. The title was to Shilpa, who was the 1st runner-up of I Am She 2012 and supposed to compete in the Miss Globe International in 2013.

Shilpa is from Diha village in Singhia block of Samastipur district which is in the Bihar.She is presently working as a software engineer at Infosys Technologies.She did her schooling at Muzaffarpur, Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Mumbai. Her Family is presently settled in Mumbai.

“I can’t think of anything beyond December 19,” says a radiant Shilpa Singh. That’s the date of the Miss Universe finale at Las Vegas. And the 23-year-old who will be representing India at the international pageant can’t stop talking about how unexpected a contender she is for the title. It was less than a year ago that her life was going according to the ideal Indian education-get a job plan.

I AM She – Miss Universe India is a national beauty pageant, started in 2010, which sends its winner to Miss Universe pageant.Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen is a president and its h.q. is in Mumbai.

Previously from India ,Sushmita Sen in 1994 and Lara Dutta in 2000 became the Miss Universe.Now its time for Shilpa Singh which represents India at Miss Universe 2012 held in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on December 19, 2012, where also 90 other beauty queen participated from different countries.
